Description
Bovi-Shield GOLD One Shot is for vaccination of healthy cattle to prevent respiratory disease caused by infectious bovine rhinotracheitis (IBR) virus and viraemia caused by bovine virus diarrhoea (BVD) virus Types 1 and 2; and as an aid in preventing respiratory disease caused by BVD virus Types 1 and 2, parainfluenza3 (PI3) virus and bovine respiratory syncytial virus (BRSV); and bovine pneumonia caused by Mannheimia haemolytica type A1. A duration of immunity of at least 9 months has been demonstrated against IBR and BVD virus Types 1 and 2 respiratory disease.
Use the entire contents when first opened.
Do not store for future use.
Sterilised syringes and needles should be used to administer the vaccine. Do not sterilise with chemicals because traces of disinfectant may inactivate the vaccine.
Dispose of all unused contents and containers and disposable vaccine equipment in accordance with national waste management regulations on waste disposal.
If vaccination results in anaphylaxis, initial antidote of adrenalin, or equivalent is recommended, and should be followed with appropriate supportive therapy.
In case of accidental self-injection, consult a medical doctor and make this label available to him/her.
Use only as directed.
Aseptically rehydrate the freeze-dried component with the sterile diluent provided, shake well, and administer 2 ml subcutaneously.
This product should be administered in the region of the neck.
Primary Vaccination:
Administer a single 2 ml dose to healthy cattle. To avoid possible maternal antibody interference with active immunisation, calves vaccinated before the age of 6 months should be revaccinated after 6 months of age or at weaning.
Revaccination:
Annual revaccination with a single dose is recommended.
Store at 2-7 °C. Do not freeze.
