Description
For the treatment of infectious ophthalmia (pink eye) in horses, cattle, sheep and goats.
Oxytetracycline is a strong antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections of the cornea. (clear part of the eye) and the pink parts around the eyelids.
Benzocaine is a topical anaesthetic that is used to numb the surface of the eye.
Pink Eye if left untreated can lead to:
• Loss of feed intake
• Production losses
• The cornea (front see-through part of the eye) can be damaged so badly that animal can go blind
Directions for use
- Separate eyelids with 2 fingers and puff powder into the affected eye
- Repeat 2-3 times daily until tearing, discharge and redness is gone
