Description

For active immunization against reproductive disorders caused by Chlamydia abortus and Salmonella Abortus ovis in sheep and shedding reduction of both pathogens from infected animals, in suspension for injection.

Warnings

• Withdrawal period: 21 days.
• Vaccinate healthy animals only.
• Do not mix with other veterinary medicinal products or vaccines.
• Do not use within 14 days of antibiotic treatment.
• No information is available on the safety and efficacy of this vaccine when used with any other veterinary medicinal product. A decision to use this vaccine before or after any other veterinary medicinal product therefore needs to be made on a case by case basis by a veterinarian. ∙ Do not over or under-dose any vaccine.
• A palpable local reaction at the injection site, which may appear approximately 1 week post-vaccination, occurred commonly in studies. In most cases, the reaction is slight or moderate and subsides spontaneously within 2 weeks without treatment. In some isolated cases, these reactions can exceed 5 cm but rapidly decrease in diameter within 2 days without need for treatment.
• An increase in body temperature up to 1.0 °C may occur 1 day after vaccination in studies. This slight increase should subside spontaneously within 24 hours.
• If you notice any side effects, even those not already listed in this package leaflet, please inform your veterinarian.
• KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN, UNINFORMED PERSONS AND ANIMALS.

Although this vaccine has been extensively tested under a large variety of conditions, failure thereof may ensue as a result of a wide range of reasons. If this is suspected, seek veterinary advice and notify the registration holder.
